Welcome to K-W French

Welcome to the 15th annual K-W French Climbing Camp!

For the past 14 years, the K-W French Climbing Camp has had more than 1820 campers, age 6 to 12, coming from Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Stratford, Fergus, Elora, Toronto, Brantford, Montreal, Quebec City, England, the State of Michigan, France, and as far away as China and Japan.

The children coming to our camp have a lot of fun while being completely immersed in French. We offer various outdoor sports activities and games in the morning, followed by an outdoor picnic at lunch time. In the afternoon, after our 20 minute quiet time under the trees, the children go indoor rock climbing. Mid week, we enjoy swimming at a safe City of Waterloo water park named Moses Springer, located few minutes away from L’Harmonie, weather permitting.

All our activities are under tight supervision of 1 to 6 ratio.

They are 5 sessions this summer, starting Monday July  3, 2017 to Friday August 4, 2017

This summer we are running the camp in our regular location, the French School “l’Harmonie” located 158 Bridgeport Road East in Waterloo (corner of Ellis and Bridgeport).

Our camp counsellors are French speaking, from France, Quebec, Ontario and other francophone regions of Canada. They have been professionally trained, possess their Standard First Aid certificate as well as their Police check, prior to work at our camp. We proudly select high quality French speaking staff.

The K-W  French Climbing Summer Camp is recognized by the Waterloo Region District School Board, Programs and Instruction Department.
